Open Quote I am a current Logan High School senior. I have had amazing teachers and okay ones. However, overall I would rank the school as average because of three things:

1. I finished applying to college about three months ago, and the only real help I received was from the internet. My supposed "counselor" spent most of her time scheduling classes, not counseling or helping with the college process at all. It was very difficult to navigate on my own at first and I wish the school would implement a program to help students who want to go to out-of-state schools manage to do it.

2. Teachers seem to have very little regulation. Most of the good teachers have to limit their teaching because of strict rules, while other teachers who follow those rules don't teach at all! There's a new teacher this year in social sciences. During the first quarter of the year, he had us watch documentaries about serial killers he had recorded from his TV. The class was supposed to be American Government. Those situations are frustrating.

3. There's an absolute conservative bias. Many teachers just assume every person in their class is Mormon, which is quite discomfiting if you're not. Close Quote
