Open Quote This school is a disaster. The principal is lovely but unwilling to really address the ingrained rudeness, poor teaching and lack of respect her teachers and administration is showing towards the students. We thought the school would be flexible and with good individual teaching since it is so small, instead it has been terrible, with teachers who really do not care and are often simply mean. I have had my kids at many schools at this point with moves to different cities and one in college, this is beyond the worst school I have ever seen. And it is insanely expensive. Close Quote

Open Quote Alexander Smith is a place where high school students can excel academically without being encouraged to conform to a typical "cookie cutter" way of thinking. This is the perfect place for students who are smart and creative. Alexander -Smith encourages academics as well as individuality. We couldn't be happier with the school. Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
