Open Quote I am grateful that we got into PS 163. They have a strong dual language program, lots of arts and enrichment opportunities, and a growing PTA that is helping to establish a vibrant community. But, above all of that, as a former teacher, I've never seen a group of teachers so dedicated to the craft. My son is so lucky to have teachers that are experts in pedagogy and just simply love what they do. Close Quote

Open Quote My experience at PS 163 has been incredibly positive. The sense of community here is truly special — families know each other, support one another, and there’s a genuine feeling that everyone wants the best for all of the kids, not just their own.

One of the things we appreciate most is the stability of the teaching staff. Many of the teachers have been at the school for years, which speaks volumes about the culture and leadership. That tenure creates consistency and deep expertise in the classroom.

The leadership is transparent and communicative, and we always feel informed about what’s happening at the school. As parents, we’re welcomed into the building regularly, have access to classrooms, and are encouraged to be involved. It doesn’t feel like we’re on the outside looking in — we feel like true partners in our child’s education.

We’re grateful to be part of this community. Close Quote
