Open Quote I am currently a student at Monadnock. While there are some nasty rumors floating around, this truly is a good school. While our facilities might not be top of the line, our teachers are some of the best I have ever seen. These people care about the students and dedicate an absurd amount of time to making their classes run smoothly. They are also willing to give extra help after school. Many teachers also take on the extra responsibility of coaching a sport team or running a club. Academically, this school is fantastic for the extremely bright and those who have a very hard time in school. If you're middle of the road, it's decent. But if you really want to push yourself, we offer numerous AP classes along with the regular assortment of Honors classes. I took my first AP class when I was a sophomore and I passed! And if a student is looking into more of a trade career, they can take classes at Keene High during their Junior and Senior years. So while the other districts or the Keene Sentinel might not want to admit it, Monadnock is one of New Hampshire's hidden gems. Close Quote
