Open Quote I graduated from Pamlico County High with honors in 2010. I never wrote a single paper in my four years of attendance besides my tenth grade writing EOC essay and the essay a attempted in AP English 4. The only homework that I was ever held accountable for was in Lois Moye's calc and pre-calc classes and Rob Wolbert's US history class. Those two are the only teachers there that actually cater to students that don't want to live on welfare for the rest of their lives. After graduating, I attended Western Carolina Univeresity, where I failed ENG 101 twice. Actually, I failed everything except math because it was the only class that didn't require a research paper. I was literally told that I write on an eighth grade level. Currently, I am at a community college trying to catch up so I can finish my degree. Again, I would like to reiterate, I graduated WITH HONORS! I wasn't just some slacker who wants to lay blame for their own problems, I had a 3.7GPA when I graduated. Please, if you care at all about your child's future at all, DO NOT send them through Pamlico County Schools!!! Close Quote
