As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote The teachers and staff at WPA have the student as their top priority. There is a dedicated and supportive staff who work hard to help each student succeed. I personally work extra hard to individualize instruction to meet the needs of each student. The curriculum used is data driven and proven to work, yet the teachers are given the flexibility to adapt lessons to meet student needs. Working in a smaller school makes WPA like a family where everyone knows one another and works together to provide the best school experience for all of our students. Close Quote

Open Quote The staff at this school have got to be kidding! They are very unprofessional and do not own up to their responsibility. They are extremely messy in how they manage the school and their people skills are very lacking to say the least. The one person at the front desk appears flustered if more than one thing is going on at a time and since this IS an elementary school, 90% of the time there's at least 3 or more things happening at once. Ms. Robinson, who is part founder of WPA, is as unprofessional and as messy as her staff. They offer transportation but it seems that it is never available. Either the bus is broken down, sent away for inspection, or the bus driver (both the permanant driver AND the substitute driver) has neglected to show up for work. Each time I've voiced a complaint to anyone there, I'm looked at like I'm the issue. Not once has anyone there sat me down, apologized and asked me to bear with them. In fact, I was told by Ms. Robinson (who is part founder as I understand it) that my child does not have to come back since this is a "parents choice" school. Wow. That was just the last straw for me. If you have a very low tolerance for messiness, DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD TO THIS SCHOOL!!! I plan on taking this a lot further. Close Quote

Open Quote This school has been perfect for my son! The small class size is important to me. They work the kids hard on the 3 R's but there's a lot of fun stuff going on too. I'll give them FIVE stars after we get in the new building next month! Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
