As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote CLASSROOMS OVER CROWED EVEN MY SON CANT WAIT TO GET INTO ANOTHER SCHOOL HE SAYS HE DONT LEARN. I CALLED THE PRINCIPLE ABOUT THIS SITUATION AND NO ONE EVER CALLED ME BACK. THE TEACHER CANT HANDLE THE STUDENTS EVEN WITH A CLASSROOM AID. I HAPPEN TO WALK IN TO PICK UP MY KINDERGARTEN CHILD EARLY AND THE CLASSROOM WAS IN TOTAL CHAOS. THERE WERE SOME KIDS IN CIRCLE TIME TRYING TO READ THERE WERE OTHER KIDS AT THEIR DESK TRYING TO DO THEIR WORK AND THERE WERE OTHERS PLAYING AND MAKING A LOT OF NOISE EVEN THE TEACHER LOOKED OVER WHELMED. THERE IS NO STRUCTURE IN THE CLASSROOM. THE HOMEWORK IS PISS POOR THE TEACHER SENT HOMEWORK ON A SHEET OF PAPER AND WANTED THE PARENTS WRITE OUT SENTENCES AND MATH PROBLEMS FOR THE KIDS. IT BECAME TO MUCH SO I PRINTED OUT KINDERGARTEN AND 1ST GRADE WORKSHEETS OFF THE INTERNET AND SENT IT WITH MY SON TO TURN IN FOR HIS HOMEWORK. I GUESS HIS TEACHER GOT THE HINT THE FOLLOWING WEEK GUESS WHAT HIS HOMEWORK PACKET WAS YOU GUESSED IT ACTUAL WORKSHEETS. THE SAD THING IS HIS CLASSROOM IS ONLY 10 FT FROM THE MAIN OFFICE AND I KNOW THEY HAVE TO HEAR ALL THE NOISE THAT IS COMING FROM THAT CLASSROOM. THIS CAN BE A MUCH BETTER SCHOOL IF THE TEACHERS AND ADMINISTRATION PUT IN THE EFFORT TO MAKE IT WORK. Close Quote

Open Quote This school is great, a few bad eggs does not spoil the whole dozen. Many of these kids are doing the best they can and teachers are working hard to help them. This school will improve over the next few years. Close Quote

Open Quote Seems as though the teachers does not know how to handle the kids when they get out of hand. Their only way of disciplining kids is SUSPENSION, same goes for the principle and the assistant principle. The ONLY word they are familiar with is SUSPENSION. There needs to be more training on how to handle kids without suspending them for EVERY little thing. Taking them out of school does not solve the problem because they are missing valuable school time when they could be learning! Our African American kids do not need to have a record on them before they are even out of school and it seems as though ALOT of these school staff are trying to put a paper trail on these kids. I would love to find a new school quick! Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
