Open Quote MLK is not a good school at all, some of the teachers do not no how to talk to there students and parents. And another thing they do not teach your child. Also keep kids back with passing grades. There not just hurting the parent there hurting the child also and its sad when a child says they hate a school and they no longer wants to attend. And another thing why do parents have to pay $30 dollars every year to help pay teachers when they don't even teach a child. Also when parents walk into the principal office the staff has an attitude towards parents and talk to the parents like there not adults. I think this school need to learn how to use professionalism. I know other parents out here are looking at its just one school in there distict and you can't send them to another school but, if we speak up things can happen better things. To MLK your school needs alot of help with attitudes, teaching and stop being malignant and help the kids instead of degrading them. As of right now this school disgusted me and my kids. School boards please put more schools in the lower 9th ward for our kids for learning reason. Parents think twice before you send your child or kids to this school and DO NOT let the smiles fool you.
