Open Quote My son currently attends this school, and i have had a poor experience here. My two older children went there when they were younger and i know almost every teacher and rules there. I used to even help with the school programs and field trips, i guess you can say i was very involved. When my younger Son started going to this school it started out good, he has a disability and is in the special needs education program. Come 2rd grade he has a teacher there who mistreated him very badly. She began teasing my son, which is what started giving me suspicions about something not going the right way. I later noticed that my son was acting differently towards everyone especially school being afraid to go as being one of them. He always wanted to stay home. When we were successful at getting him to go to school he always wanted mommy and daddy to stay with him. Long story short the teacher only had two students in her class and a assitant teacher helping her, basically she was a horrible teacher and all the other teachers and principle and co workers had her back. One example that struck out to me as the worst to me out of the many things that has been going on is that he was late going back to the classroom because his attnetion was on the construction crew out the window and with his disability that happens, he was late by 5 minutes. That 5 minutes went into a month worth of lost priveledges of going to the bathroom by himself or anywhere else. This led to the teacher going with him everywhere he goes. One day he got upset over homework for the summer because he misunderstood and the teacher grabbed him with his arms over his head and pushed drug him up the stairs by the back of his shirt leaving a red mark around his neck and scratches on his shoulder. Then two teachers noticed that he was pushed into the classroom after he yelled for help. That teacher still remains at that school without punishment. Any student you take to that school make sure you listen to your kids and what they say because it could be true and be very aware of your kids and teachers. Close Quote
