Hawaii Preparatory Academy

This school has many unresolved issues. The residential program is at worst quality and the safety at the school is very low. As a student living on campus, I could leave at any time with no questions asked, half way through the year, someone was noted missing, and they informed us leaving was not acceptable. This was not monitored and is clearly unacceptable. Minors are unaccounted for and could be easily kidnapped and never found again. While I was there, mono went around campus and parents of the children attending the school were not informed, causing many to be sick over summer break. Individual rights of students are unheard of and people are rude. I got my phone stolen and when i called my own number from a friends phone, a man picked up and told me he was going to kill my entire family and rape my mother. When I addressed the principle, he said that he would prefer this story not to be published. My phone was found in a students locker and they refused to tell me which student. If you are looking to put your child in a prison this is the school for you! If you love your child send them elsewhere.
