Open Quote Where test scores and being prepared for college are a big focus. And, there is still a great cultural experience from band to cirque to study clubs to charity work to sports! I have personally seen my 4 kids go off to be successful in college and life. They have been well prepared from both their challenges and triumphs within this great family based community that includes this great school. Close Quote

Open Quote I love this high school. The teachers AND the students respect diversity: The school fosters acceptance and tolerance of different races, cultures and personalities.
Most of the teachers are very skilled: they encourage and respect student input and critical thinking. In addition, they do not sweat the "small stuff". The teachers here continue to teach their subject material while teachers at other area schools are wasting prescious time dealing with their students' skirts that are a little more than 3 fingers above the knee. This is not to say that there is no discipline: There is, they just pick their battles wisely.
It is great to see that most of the students respect learning and work hard to do well.
In addition, the school offers some incredible opportunities and instruction in performing arts. Close Quote

Open Quote Students are spoiled rotten. Even weapons found at the school have only gotten students a few days of out of school suspension. Close Quote
