Open Quote Dolvin provides excellent elementary foundation for all learner types: appropriate acceleration for those who need extra academic challenge, strong support for those who need more basics, and strong fine arts & music programs. Compared to another Fulton school, we found Dolvin to be unbiased in student assessment all around. Teachers find the time to recognize individual students and their achievements despite the fact that the school is big as the demand to be in this school zone is extremely high. We loved the fact that the school is situated in a 100 residential area with sidewalk access to/from school. The extra-curricular activities are also worth looking into as local programs come directly to the school so that the working parents do not have to leave work early. Close Quote

Open Quote This is our second year at Dolvin and our daughter loves her school and so do we! She's had wonderful teachers who care for her well being as well as her academic achievements. We moved here because of the diversity of the school as well as the strong community that the school strives to build. They have an amazing PTA which supports the students and the staff as well as a strong school Foundation that provides much of the new technology in the school. They also have a strong music and arts program which are led by amazing teachers. Do they have fundraisers? Of course they do! How else would a public school with limited funding get so many resources! It is excessive? No.
I am a teacher in another county and I am amazed with all of the school activities and programs that they offer. It's the staff, parents, and the leadership of Mrs. Zoll that create such a stellar environment for our students. It always comes down to what is best for our kids and we couldn't have asked for more! Close Quote

Open Quote We moved into the Alpharetta area specifically for the schools. Our son is in Kindergarten and has had an excellent experience so far. His teacher is very caring and we've been amazed at his progress since the beginning of the year. The Principal is fantastic and we enjoy reading her detailed updates in the school newsletter. The school regularly hosts after-school activities that have a strong turnout such as a fall festival, bingo, ice cream social, etc. Parents can come have lunch with their kids as a special treat and there are always a bunch of mothers and fathers there. We're pleased so far. Close Quote

Open Quote If you have a child that has special needs or requires special education do not send your child to this school. They do not seem to listen to the parents regarding tools to help your child through the day nor do they seem to care to help them in their education or adapting to the new school. We are stuck in this school and wish we had not moved to this area. Close Quote
