Open Quote Chapel Hill's administration is excellent. The principal and asst principal's truly care about the students, have high expectations of the students because they care, but also are relational with the students. Chapel Hill has a JROTC program that is excellent as well and I'd recommend any student going to the school be a part of this program as it encourages the students to be leaders in their schools, communities, etc. The only thing I don't like about Chapel Hill is that over the years we have gotten a lot of kids in the county who, along with their parents, just don't really care about education and my daughter has told me of some of the difficulties the teachers struggle with as far as disrespect from some of the students. The school is very diverse and the kids all seem to get along well with each other. There aren't any racial tensions here. Overall, I really like Chapel Hill, believe it has been an excellent school for my daughter, and it is my top choice of high schools in Douglas County. Close Quote
