This high-performing school is part of the Palm Beach School District, which is ranked 38 out of 67 districts in Florida and has a 2-star rating from SchoolDigger.

Park Vista Community High School has consistently ranked in the top 20-25% of Florida high schools over the past 10 years, with a 4-star rating from SchoolDigger. This places it significantly above the district and state averages. The school has maintained a high 4-year graduation rate, ranging from 88% to 98.4% over the past few years, outperforming the district and state averages. Park Vista students also consistently outperform their peers in the district and state on various end-of-course (EOC) and FAST assessments. For example, in the 2024-2025 school year, 75% and 76% of 10th and 9th-grade students, respectively, scored proficient or better on the FAST English Language Arts assessment, compared to 59% and 57% for the district and 58% and 56% for the state.

When comparing Park Vista Community High School to the nearby schools, such as South Area Secondary Intensive Transition Program, Educational Venture Charter School, and Palm Beach Preparatory Charter Academy, it stands out as a high-performing institution. Many of these surrounding schools have significantly lower performance on various metrics, including test scores, graduation rates, and school rankings. While Park Vista's chronic absenteeism rates are lower than the district average, the increasing trend over the past few years is a concern that the school may need to address.

Open Quote I have one 2007 graduate from PV, one graduating this May, and one starting there this fall. I have always appreciated the quality of the education my children are getting there and we have been there since its opening. We have enjoyed the sports programs, the community involvement of the school, and its consistent pursuit to attain and maintain, high student and school scores in the state rankings. If only all the schools in Palm Beach County could provide this kind of education for our kids! Close Quote
