Open Quote I have had several bad experiences at this school. All on my goggle review. Very unprofessional, rude staff. My daughter had several diff. teachers and the office said I should not worry about it because it does not affect the children. Okay an unstable environment where the normal structure is disturbed again and again, week periods with each new teacher where they get no homework because the teacher is getting familiarized with everything. OH NO that doesn't affect the children at all! Come on. I was also left stuck at the school for at least 30 minn. while my husband was throwing up blood and my daughter was crying because of the insensitivity to my situation. I stated there was an emergency and the office staff did nothing to help. They called my daughter out of class all casual. If the could have made the very small effort and said, can you send her in a hurry the family is having an emergency?? Anything we would have been gone with no issues. 1st problem was at enrollment, an office staff mailed me an enrollment pkg. I sent it back priority mail and they "misplaced" it. My social sec. card, birth certificates, marriage license.. all items with sensitive information. I am very unimpressed by this school. We come from another public school in South Tampa and miss it very much. If things do not drastically change this next school year I will be making a formal complaint to the school board and I will find a way to commute to a better school. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
