Open Quote As an alumnus of New World, I can tell you wholeheartedly that going to NWSA was the best decision I have ever made. The way the curriculum is built, it challenges students to work hard academically as well as artistically. Even with the expectations set as high as they are, students are trained to exceed them and create expectations of themselves. Even if you feel you might not pursue the arts later on in life, New World is still academically strong and can/will train to get you into almost any school you desire to become a part of.
The teachers here are like no others. This summer alone I have visited several former instructors of mine. This shows the connection the teachers have with their students. They care and want the best for each and every one of the young artists and will try their best to help you.
Like many know, NWSA is a unique place that allows you to grow up and mature into your own person. There aren't any cliques or social hierarchies. Everyone is accepted for who they are and grow into young adults, prepared for their next step in life. Close Quote

Open Quote New World School Of The Arts is not a regular Senior High School, The fact that the people that attend the high school have shown the highest level of talent all though out the county, and that going to New World follows by responsibilities and high expectations, considering that its located in Downtown Miami, and also in a College Campus of Miami Dade College, New World is a Big Family (Though it only has approximate 400 Students), we learn from each other, we learn about other arts, and New World wouldn't be New World without they're so talented students, now about my personal experience with New World, I Lived In Venezuela, I studied music in a national music conservatory, and my Godmother, she lives in Miami, told me about New World, and my mom and I decided to move to United States so I can progress in my music career, I'm a piano player, but there was no piano auditions that year, so I learned how to sing opera and I made my auditions, it seemed impossible, but I guess that word is unknown by me right now. New World offers you the chance to get a scholarship in ANY college through out the Country, I know because I've seen people going to Juiliard, Boston Conservatory, Berkley, Harvard, Princeton, etc...
To Finish this up, New World is a chance to be with people like you or like your children, if you really want to do something, nothing is impossible remember that. Close Quote
