Open Quote This is the best school in Weston. Ranked #1 in Weston, Ranked #4 among 187 schools in Broward, and #37 among all 2115 schools in the state of Florida. My Kids earned 2 scholarships as soon as they got out of this school because they both scored incredible high in their admission tests. Also, they are the only school in Weston (public or private) to have a Character educational program, where they teach kids on everyday basis lessons about citizenship, responsibility, fairness, caring, respect, and trustworthiness. I couldn't be happier with this school. Close Quote

Open Quote I came to Imagine Weston as one of the many parents who had heard "all the great things" about the school. I researched everywhere I could to find more facts about what made the school so great. I couldn't find anything specific, the school grade was great, and I didn't find any information to indicate the school was lacking in some way. The reason I'm submitting this review is because I've since switched my child out of this school due to a terrible experience we had with a teacher, a situation that was not addressed in any manner by the administration. I made several attempts to contact Ms. Laham, via email, phone, and in person to no avail. Due to this situation, my child feared going to school, which had never happened until he attended Imagine Weston. I will add more details about my experience, so that when other parents are scouring the internet for information regarding the school, they don't drink the Kool-aid and go into it much more informed than I did.

1. The administration WILL NOT support you if your child ever needs any form of additional assistance. If your child is average, and never struggles in any way, then try it out, but otherwise, go to a public school where they have all the resources at their disposal to help you.
2. The "lottery" is rigged. I know personally of people who got into Imagine outside of the lottery. Unethical and unfair.
3. The camping out line to get into the Pre-K is also rigged, as only parents who are highly connected in the community find out about it first, have the means to stand in line for days, and also the means to pay people to stand in line for them. You read that right.
3. The teachers are underpaid and overworked. Same for the administration.
4. They will continuously ask you for money, partly to make up for low teacher salaries.
5. They are extremely disorganized, a fact that will make your life as a busy parent extremely stressful.
6. You will have a hell of a time parking to drop off your child, as there is no parking at the school and the Publix across the street has explicitly stated they will tow you.
7. You will get treated as a number because the moment you leave, they know they can easily replace you.
8. There is a ridiculous amount of favoritism at this school.
9. If your child struggles, they will blame it on him/her instead of helping your child succeed. Close Quote

Open Quote Recently I withdrew my children from this school. The reasons, somehow obvious, but to mention a few: over the years, this school has lost too many valuables teachers; the ones remaining, some are good, but many need to improve their learning and communication with students. The new staff at the front office is very rude; I don't know how they manage their way into an office position this year, maybe it was because of a bad reference. Administration has changed so much over the years, that they can't keep the school/students/teacher organized. The school grounds are dirty and not well kept. I would not recommend this school. Open Quote I disagree with the previous writer and I would like to know where and how this information was obtained. Every teacher at Imagine is well qualified and dedicated. Our test scores speak for themselves. We are a public school and accept students based on a lottery. I am judging that from the mistakes, that the review was written in haste. Close Quote

Open Quote This particular school is just ok, Weston public schools are predominately and A+ schools, Imagine Charter at this point of this review is not. In regular practice they work toward past the FCAT. Kids maybe perform good in the test, but in general learning is just basic. They have an experimental bilingual program, which is performing good due the strong recruitment of Hispanics students. They are not any publish statistic's related to how the other populations of students perform in this program. In general this school have a very strong presence of parents, but they do not have an open door policy to hear their concerns,(PTA mostly work toward find funds for the school and not necesary do their part to evaluate how they performing their role in educational matters) Also the school have a lot of limitations, poor music, art, physical education programs. In organizational matters still need improvement. Teachers that work in this school most of them have their degree on education from their countries of origins and not from United States Universities. Which created a strong cultural diversity and a very diversified a teaching technics. Staff in general is ok, do not work in a formal environment. In ocasions supervision, rules are not always follows. This school is trying but still need time to perform better. Right now is predominaly running as a business and not as an public Institution. The school is depending of their sponsors and the money that they will provide. Close Quote
