Open Quote I've been a parent at New Lebanon for 3 years and it has been a wonderful experience. We have a large percent of hispanic students who require ESL which may be a reflection of the scores and responsibility should be placed on the parents to make sure that the children have the right tools. I believe the no child left behind policy is harming more kids than not. If a child is not ready to move on and does not meet the requirements they should repeat the grade to ensure they are on track and not holding others back. Close Quote

Open Quote Small neighborhood school in the process of becoming a magnet school with the IB theme. Great staff and excellent support staff. Diverse student population. Test scores tend to be on the low side due to high (43%) ESL learners.

I've had experience with both SPED and Advanced children and was very happy with their education. Close Quote
