As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote Under the current board and super, they have put so much on the staff at proving they are excellent that it takes away time from doing what they do best. I get that a teacher should be held accountable in how they teacher but adding hours of documentation to their already busy schedule takes time from planning and diving into research to bring new ideas of teaching to the classroom. This school and the staff are amazing people and the teachers not only teach but they love these kids as if they were their own children. They go out of their way to make sure every child understands what is being taught. Close Quote

Open Quote have had multiple students at this school for over four years, our first year was great! The second year brought new staff, while still good, issues of bullying were ignored and staff began shutting down, Year three brought 9 news and more mess and headache, nothing fixed and the loss of beloved office staff. Year four, so many great teachers have been lost and now the office is full of power hungry staff. if you have special needs children expect coloring pages, not enough Para's, bust the worlds BEST and lacking leadership. Gen ed classes, well good luck! The pre-school program however is top notch with amazing staff, support staff and a real feeling of community. Years after leaving preschool, my students still go say hi, and we are always welcomed with smile and love. Close Quote

Open Quote My kids and I love Rock Ridge Elementary! My kids have excelled in academics and confidence! My kids have had AMAZING teachers so far and I'm extremely sad that our wonderful principal is retiring this year! Parental involvement is incredible at this school and they always have really great activities that bring the community together! I have never had any issues with the administration staff! One of the most important things to me is the safety of my children and this school goes above and beyond to ensure every student is safe! We LOVE RRE! Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
