Open Quote This is the worst school I have ever seen, as a person who has most of my family in education I am appalled at the way this school is run. Absolutely all about image and covers up all the bullying and racism that happens here. Appalled by administration, teachers, parents and students. Do not expose you child to this toxic and unhealthy environment. Close Quote

Open Quote We have two girls who have already gone through Campus and our youngest just started this week. Although it's not a perfect school, (what middle school is?), we have NEVER been unhappy with our kids' education. We have one kido that was on a 504 and the second one was in all honors courses - both have received the attention they need to be successful. Close Quote

Open Quote Campus counselors and administration just don't care. Your student can fail classes and they just pass them on - even into high level classes - with statements like "He is so smart that hopefully the light will turn on eventually" or "It would damage him socially to hold him back" or (my personal favorite) "You just need to figure out what motivates him. That's not our job." After begging them for help to enforce rules and penalties, they just shrug and tell you they can't (can't make them come in for detention/recess/after school; can't hold them back; can't provide counseling)

There ARE really good teachers, but you might get one or two in a team of four. The school is too large and they just don't care - even if your child does have a diagnosed learning disability (ADD for mine - which they didn't catch, I did). Put your child elsewhere, if at all possible!!! Close Quote

Open Quote This school is about image only. It does not seem to care about the student or teaching. They push really hard and send home 3 hours of homework every night. They expect children to be adults and burn the midnight oil? This is not a school. It is a prison of children who are serving Cherry Creek School's agenda for "excellence." That is to say they count bodies, grades, and funding....they are not interested in teaching children to learn how to learn or enjoy the process. And, more importantly, they put a heavy burden on parents to teach their children rather than have the teachers do the teaching. All so that Cherry Creek Schools can retain their academic standard. Oh for the good 'ol days where kids got to learn and enjoy school. That is not true at Campus. It is nose to the grind stone early right from the get go. Lighten up a little bit please. You could still teach and have some fun! I am a parent who has spent 6 total years of two kids at Campus suffering through their desire to secure the best scores, the best funding, the best whatever, and watched my kids struggle to get As and Bs by having to study like a college student. Really, when they are 11, 12, 13! Close Quote
