This graph shows three data points for the “Mean Scaled Score” of the California Standard Test (CST) for each year. The first column is the score for University High, the second is the district average, and the third is the California state average. The scores for University High are further broken down by student performance. Each bar sub-section represents the percentage of the students that performed within a certain proficiency level, which are “Advanced”, “Proficient”, “Basic”, “Below Basic”, and “Far Below Basic”.
The California Standards Tests (CSTs) are developed by California educators and test developers specifically for California. They measure progress toward California's state-adopted academic content standards, which describe what students should know and be able to do in each grade and subject tested.Source: California Standardized Testing and Reporting Program
