Summary

Campus Park Elementary is a public elementary school in Livingston, CA, serving 459 students in grades K-5 and part of the Livingston Union School District.

While Campus Park Elementary provides education to a high percentage of economically disadvantaged students, with around 85% qualifying for free or reduced-price lunch, the school's academic performance consistently lags behind both the district and state averages. Proficiency rates in English Language Arts, Mathematics, and Science are 10-15 percentage points lower than the district and state. The school's chronic absenteeism rate is also significantly higher than the state average, ranging from 9.4% to 24.9% over the past few years.

Interestingly, the two closest schools, Selma Herndon Elementary and Yamato Colony Elementary, both perform significantly better than Campus Park Elementary across all academic measures, with proficiency rates that are 10-20 percentage points higher. This suggests that factors beyond just funding, which has increased steadily at Campus Park Elementary, may be contributing to the school's challenges in improving student outcomes.
