The school is part of the Alhambra Elementary District, which is ranked 443 out of 540 districts in the state and has a 1-star rating from SchoolDigger. Solano School's student body is predominantly Hispanic (57.11%) and African American (23.25%), with smaller percentages of other racial groups.

Solano School consistently ranks in the bottom 20% of Arizona elementary schools, with a statewide ranking between 922-1231 out of 1,245 schools over the past 10 years. Its performance on state assessments is significantly below the state and district averages, with only 10-13% of Solano students proficient in English Language Arts and Mathematics, compared to state averages of 41-45% and district averages of 21-30%. The school's performance is particularly low for African American, Hispanic, and low-socioeconomic status students, ranking in the bottom 5% of Arizona elementary schools in these subgroups. Additionally, Solano School has a very high percentage of students (77.88%) who qualify for free or reduced-price lunch, indicating a high level of economic disadvantage among the student population.

While the nearby schools, such as Bennett Academy and Alhambra Traditional School, outperform Solano School and the district average, other schools like Synergy Public School, Westwood Elementary, and Imagine Camelback Elementary perform similarly or worse than Solano. The high percentage of economically disadvantaged students and the school's low funding levels may be contributing to the poor academic outcomes at Solano School, but the school's performance history suggests that there may be opportunities for improvement with the right interventions and support.

Open Quote Solano is a great school starting with the friendly staff in the front office. There is a careful balance of new, enthusiastic teachers and experienced teachers with decades of experience. All students receive free breakfast, uniforms are enforced, and there are many options available for afterschool care and activities which is really helpful for working parents. Plus, the school is performing very well in a variety of areas including writing and math! Close Quote

Open Quote I'm glad this writing to express my respect and gratitude, the District Osborn.
When my children were born I thought I had the tools to offspring and raise them, but I realized I'm in a different culture and generation.
I feel fortunate to have arrived at this District, because they care about academic and emotional development of my children.
Selects and features the best people, gives us security and confidence.
I appreciate the effort and interest in the development of "The Parent Academy."
The Parent Academy is an excellent resource for all parents, we're full of energy, experience, skills and resources for the development and education of our children.
But mostly I'm sure of myself, now that a good example of overcoming struggle and have children for a successful future.
I hope in the future continue to create new projects.

THANKS

Open Quote I want to express myself about the parent academy held Solano School this summer in the Osborn School District. I'm happy to be in these classes because I learned many strategies to educate and teach my children. I ask this district to continue to give more classes.

And I was pleased to meet the parent involvement coordinator and parent liaisons. I feel they are best friends because they helped me. I want to give thanks for the effort, patience, and dedication of the teachers. I wish them the best, that God bless and keep going... do not stop giving us, the parents, more classes. I know that I'll share everything I learned in the Parent Academy to others in the community.
I am also glad to have known that OSBORN SCHOOL DISTRICT has many different programs and classes. I will have them in my mind and I will remember that I learned a lot in the Parent Academy THANKS.

I actually attend another district and am going to place my children at Osborn this school year. Close Quote

My kids like Solano School, well, the reason is they are very happy in school, they are learning, they are reading, they are writing, they are helping, they are playing… … of cause, they are happy!
One of my favorite things is my kids love to reading the books, writing the new story for me, before they go to bed and they ask me for read a story for me, sometimes they are read me a story too. They are retuning their homework on time; they are share to each other about their classroom’s fun stuff or new learning.
When I joy Summer Parent Academy in the Osborn District No. 8, my kids ask me what I learned; I told them I had learned a lot. My kids tell me: “Let’s enjoy the study and let’s do it!”
I want say thank you to Solano School and Osborn District NO. 8 and America, we are proud of American. Close Quote
