I was very disappointed with this school. I had heard good reviews by other parents, but the curriculum was substandard and my son's teacher had no control over her classroom. The situation was aggravated by a class size of 26 students with out an aid. After the first quarter, I withdrew my children and started home schooling. I want my children to be prepared for college, and this school was more like a third rate daycare than a learning institution. If you are moving to Eagle River and you care about your child's education, I would recommend the Eagle River Charter Academy or the Alaska Virtual Academy. (The Alaska virtual academy is a homeschool program that is funded by the state and uses the K-12 online school curriculum.)
